Hello,
My little brother Michael played Chase Rice of Survivor: Nicaragua in this game, using the account I am posting on. I am his older brother, and I cheered him on the whole way through.
He suffers from Williams Syndrome, a disorder similar to autism. He has other disorders as well, but we don't need to get into those.
He absolutely loved his time in the game, and would tell me about his friends like Kelly and Shannon Elkins. He really enjoyed his time here, he is a kind hearted boy. He was really proud of the avatar he made as well, as he got the image and everything by himself. All in all, he loved the game. It made him really happy.
However, after being voted out today and the day before it, his attitude took a very sharp turn. Once he swapped tribes, he was openly mocked by users, some even stating outright they wanted him gone.
The main point I would like to address, however, is some of the comments. Several users including Brenda and Jane openly mocked him soley because of his disorders. They made fun of his disorder which is NOT okay. It is a serious illness, and I think it's disgusting you people would make fun of it. What if your son, daughter, brother, sister, whatever had it? Would you be okay with people attacking him because of his disorder?
I urge you to stop these tasteless comments and please apologize, as he is very hurt. This is the internet, so I expect curse words to be used, but such vulgar comments cross the line.
